Damascus Blade Detail:

The blade is carefully hand forged using 1095 & 15N20 steel through a process of layering, welding, hammering, and shaping. This approximately 350-layer teardrop Damascus construction creates a distinctive pattern across every blade, giving each knife its own unique appearance similar to a fingerprint. Each Champion Hunting Knife is individually handcrafted and visually distinctive.

Damascus steel has outstanding properties such as strength and hardness. We enhance these properties through double oil quenching at approximately 2100°F to rapidly cool the steel and develop hardness throughout the blade. The finished blade achieves approximately HRC 58-60 on the Rockwell Scale for dependable cutting performance and edge retention.

Scales & Handle Detail:

The elegant handle is handcrafted using highly figured exotic rosewood and natural bone, creating a distinctive combination of grain, color, and texture. The handle materials are carefully fitted, sealed, and finished to help prevent cracking, drying, and moisture absorption while preserving their appearance over time. A Damascus guard and pommel complement the patterned blade, while full tang construction provides additional strength, balance, and stability.
